Sue Richardson

Sue Richardson, Artist
I was born and raised in Hamilton and now living in the
Village of Troy. As a child I always loved making mud pies
and perhaps that was an indication on where my future
would lead. I have been playing with clay for over 15
years. I joined the Burlington Potters Guild after taking
classes at the Dundas Valley School of Art and the Art
Gallery of Burlington.
Clay to me is a relaxing medium for me.
I find joy in creating different pieces that are one of a
kind. My goal is to develop more skills in creating
interesting forms both functional and non-functional.
I have made new friends through the pottery world and
it has given me the opportunity to learn from some of
the best. I want to expand my techniques and I know
that I still have a lot to learn!
