My Background
I became inspired by pottery and working with clay when I was introduced to it by a well known potter, Donn Zver . It took me several years to finally take courses and explore it in more detail.
My Medium
My medium is clay. I first started pottery using electric kilns and doing hand building, some throwing on the wheel. I enjoy raku firing and recently have had the opportunity of reduction firing in a gas kiln. Although, I like making functional pieces, I truly enjoy sculptural pieces and making one of a kind.
My Inspiration
I enjoy nature, art of all mediums and draw my inspiration from these areas. I look at everything with an eye on how I can make it in clay.
